Lagos State Health District IV: Apapa LGA Extends Medical Outreach To Residents Of Ijora Oloye

Port city council has extended free medical services to Ijora Oloye residents.
The medical outreach was conducted on Thursday at the Oba Ijora and Iganmu kingdom palace were organised by Apapa Local Government, the port city council as part of the activities of the council to reach out to the people of Ijora Oloye community.

According to a statement by Oputeh Michael , Public Affairs Officer, Health District IV over the weekend, the Council’s Chairman, Hon. Adejumoke Idowu Sebanjo, said the initiative was in line with the council commitment to humanitarian efforts and improve public health.

Services rendered includes – Eye screening and provision of free Eye glasses, Blood pressure check, Blood sugar testing, HIV screening, Health Education and promotion services and General medical consultations.

The chairman said one of the mission’s of the port city council is to ensure that we reach out to our surrounding communities to show Goodwill and build good relationship with members of the public.

The Director medical services, Lagos State health district IV, Dr. Oludolapo Sotunde, said the medical outreach enable the council to provide basic services and if need be referrals are necessary that will be handled by medical personnel.

This will enable them provide sufficient service to those that patronise the outreach.
It is a free medical outreach which enables the council to build strong community relations between the Local Government and the surrounding general public.
