Senate To Commence Screening Of Ministers On Wednesday

Following the submission of 43 ministerial list sent to it by President Muhammadu Buhari, Nigerian Senate will on Wednesday, July 24, begin screening and confirmation of the nominees on Wednesday.

 

This was disclosed by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, after reeling out the list on the floor of the Senate on Tuesday.

The Senate leader said other legislative activities of the lawmakers would now take a back seat to allow for the quick completion of the important assignment.

He said, “The screening of the ministerial nominees will commence tomorrow morning. All other legislative activities will take back stage for this very important national assignment.”
