Customs Decorates Seven Officers With New Ranks

The Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Service, Col. Hameed Ali (rtd), has formally decorated seven management cadre officers of the service yesterday.

The decoration with new ranks followed confirmation of seven staff of the Service who have been on acting capacity by the NCS board

According to the National Public Relations Officer of the Service, Joseph Attah, who confirmed the decoration in a social media post listed the officers with their designations

Attah said, the officers are, Sanus Umar, Deputy Comptroller General in charge of Human Resource Development; Musa Jibrin, Assistant Comptroller General (ACG) Finance Admin and Technical Services(FATS).

Others are ACG, Emmanuel Udo-aka, Strategic Research and Policy (SR&P);
ACG, Abdullahi Babani, Tariff and Trade ( T&T); ACG, Excise, Free Trade Zones and Industrial Incentives Modupe Aremu ( E,FTZ&II); ACG, Chris Odibu as Zonal Coordinator, Zone B and ACG, Bashir Abubakar Secretary NCS BOARD.

While congratulating them, Attah quotedย  the CGC to have charged the newly decorated officers to bring their experiences to bear in the discharge of their new responsibilities.

He said, moving the country to the next level requires selfless service especially from an organisation like NCS whose functions are crucial to economic and security well being of the nation.
