NECO Reschedules Entrance Examination To April 27

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has rescheduled the 2019 National Common Entrance Examination (NECO) into unity schools to April 27.

Head, Information and Public Relations Division of the council,  Azeez Sani, made this known in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja on Thursday, even as he advised that candidates should  download the new Examination Time-Table from the Council’s website: www.neco.gov.ng

According to him, the examination, which was initially scheduled for April 13, was re-scheduled to give states with low registration of candidates the opportunity to register for the examination.

He added that a total of 70,720 candidates had so far registered for the examination across the country.

According to the statement, the date for the examination was shifted to give states with low registration of candidates the opportunity to register for the examination.

The statement said 70,720 candidates have registered for the examination.

The statement reads: “The examination which was initially scheduled for 13th April, was re-scheduled to give states with low registration of candidates the opportunity to register for the examination.

“Candidates are advised to download the new Examination Time-Table from the Council’s website.”
