He noted that his assignment at the Airport Chapter will expire in three months and said contestants are still consulting to decide which positions are viable for them.

Ezenga, a former Secretary , Kiri Kiri Lighter Terminal (KLT) Chapter of NAGAFF, disclosed that two of the contesting candidates have purchased their forms, while about twenty others are expected to buy theirs at the association headquarters next week.

“Twenty-two contestants are already in the race. Two have purchased their forms, but I advised the two groups to buy their forms collectively to ascertain their shared responsibility in the election. By next week they should have completed their purchases,” he said.

The former National Public Relations Officer of NAGAFF, who assumed duties only two weeks ago, has hit the ground running to harmonize members of the chapter for credible polls.
“Campaigning has started but candidates are taking time to strategize. We have two candidates emerging for membership. I expect the campaign to start in earnest by next week,” Ezenga added.

“Our job here is to ensure calm during the election. The minor misunderstandings have been addressed, and that is one reason we are coordinating the chapter ahead of the election,” he reiterated.

According to him, the Airport Chapter election will be notable because of the calibre of candidates contesting for various positions. The interim administrators will work around the clock to oversee successful and credible elections to usher in new executives.

Ezenga further commended NAGAFF founder Dr. Boniface Aniebonam and National President Chief Tochukwu Ezisi for giving him the opportunity to serve as interim chairman at the Airport Chapter, and he assured that the election would be free and fair.
