Apapa General Hospital Holds Christmas , Thanksgiving Service 

The Apapa General Hospital Apapa in Lagos on Friday organized a thanksgiving and Christmas carol service as part of celebrating the season .

In line with the celebration, the Medical Director , General Hospital  Apapa Dr. Agbaje Lateefat Omolara advised the staff and well wishers  to continue to work with God in all their endeavours with focus on Christ Jesus who is the reason for the season.
The Medical Director was represented by Dr. Famuyiwa MacLawrence.

She said “This is Christmas season , Christian festival celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Christmas is to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the son of God.
She said the year’s theme is “Prince of Peace”, the Bible lesson taken from Isaiah 9:6.
” For unto us a child is born, unto us a son was given and the government shall be upon his shoulder and his name shall be called wonderful counsellor. The Might God. The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
The Apapa General Hospital Chapel Pastor, Eng.Sadeko Olatunde, said the Carol service was an opportunity to draw nearer to God in anticipation for the coming of Jesus Christ, which correlates with the season of advent, it is equally an opportunity to pause and give thanks for the love, hope and joy found in Jesus Christ, our saviour and friend.
