“The major challenge to the 2023 election,is the issue of power shift , otherwise known as power rotation to the south . For a very long time, the issue of power rotation has always been a very sensitive one at elections , always threatening to tear the country apart.

“Already, it is dominating discussions with threats here and there . It is hoped that leaders will show wisdom in the spirit of fair play ,equity and justice.

“Interestingly, when that hurdle is scaled , getting power to shift to the south, the battle will then shift to which part of the south.

“It is already visible, every part of the south is slugging it out , justifying why it should be its turn. However, charity begins at home. It is my hope that NNPP shall be presenting a presidential candidate from the south east in 2023.”

Aniebonam , in his paper presentation tagged “2023 Elections:  Challenges and Prospects of Building a new Nigeria, stressed that despite the above aforementioned challenges ,the future is still bright for Nigeria, if those challenges are addressed squarely.

“For us as a country to chart a new Nigeria in 2023,we all must resolve to chart a different course .we must break away from the tradition of following the same set of politicians who may mismanaged the country for decades .

“Now is the time to give chance to a new generation of politicians. This is where I offer all of us the choice of the new Nigeria people party (NNPP) as we March toward 2023. Nigeria has all it takes to be a great country. It’s just that New Nigeria we all desire. In our little corners, let us do our bits. So,a new Nigeria begin with me.
