Popular singer, Lanre Fasasi better known as Sound Sultan, is dead.
The 44 years old afro Hip hop crooner, has been struggling with cancer of the throat.
According to an official statement released by Kayode Fasasi on behalf of the family, Sound Sultan passed away after a hard fought battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.
He was diagnosed with the disease early in the year.
He is survived by his wife and three kids.
Sultan has monstrous hits during his life time. Some of his songs include: Jagbangantist, motherland, etc.
He worked with 2face, Black face, Faze, W-4, Mode9 etc.
At the earlier stage of his career the singer signed on to Kennies Music label.
