According to him, the abandoned infrastructure cannot cater for the youths within the community of Ajegunle and its environs, urging the Minister of Information to look inward and make use of the asset.

Kalejaiye a former General Manager, LAGFERRY stated that: “I rise this afternoon to present a motion on the need to convert the Federal Government Press in Ajegunle to a skill and vocational centre for the benefit of youths in the constituency.

I’m aware that in 1979, the federal government established this press, and it served the community where gazettes and bulletins were produced.

“But upon relocations of the capital city to Abuja, the Federal Government Press were no longer utilized, today its been abandoned and all we have doing there is ceremonies, parties, and events.

” Believe that the best solution is to convert this large expanse land facilities to vocational and skill acquisition centre for the benefits of our youths particularly Ajegunle people who are skillful, my prayer therefore is to seek the indulgence of this house to direct that the Federal Ministry of Information, owner of the project to release this edifice to SDG, to take over this property and convert it to vocational training centre for the youths of our people…” , he stated.
