.…Commences Training After Schools’ Examination
WAM Football Academy, Isolo, Lagos has said it would resume training activities on Monday 12 December, 2022.
The lads on resumption from their two weeks examination break which started on Saturday, November 26, 2022 to give them time and concentrate on their ongoing first term exams will officially resume on Saturday 10th December, while full training activities starts on Monday, 12 December, 2022.
Speaking to journalists, the Chairman of WAM Academy, Williams Ayodeji Michael said the academy will close for its Christmas break on Friday, 23 December, 2022.
He went further to state that the management has however scheduled to have an in-house prematch in the academy to wrap up the year.
WAM, a football academy of a sort based in Isolo area of Lagos has the target and motivation of catching them young with a view of an aggressive open window for talent hunt
Presently, it is grooming young talented players from the ages of 5 to 15 who will be grounded in the round leather game to make Lagos State and Nigeria proud as well as promote grassroot soccer.
An earlier release announcing the resumption of their examination break according by the Public Relations Unit of the academy,
emphasised that the lads were being perfected in the skills of kick and control the ball with confidence which they are progressing very rapidly.
The statement signed by the head of PR. assured that the resumption date for the 2023 training session will be made known and to the press as well before the Christmas break.
