Gov.Uzodinma Lauds Army Chief Over Book Launch

The Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma has stated that the Book – Biography and Strategic Leadership of Lt Gen TY Buratai is a tools-kit for training future military leaders in Nigeria.
The Governor made this known in a statement on Friday, during the  launch of a book titled: “Biography and Strategic Leadership of Selected Commanders in Military Operations: Lt Gen Tukur Yusufu Buratai and Six Others in Perspective” held at Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja.
Governor Uzodinma who was represented by His Royal Majesty, Prof  Amaobi Uwaleke the Eze Udo IV of Obilobi Uratta Ancient Kingdom in Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State observed that Nigerians love General TY Buratai because of his personal approach to leadership that made him to always lead the battle and find offensives against the terrorists, recovering Arms, Ammunition, villages and rescuing captives from Boko Haram insurgents.
He further stressed that the book underpins the Opening of an entirely new area which includes the comparative study by student officers on Biographies of selected military commanders.
He appreciated the author and noted that the book is a must-read for all military leaders. The Author of the book, Colonel Benedict Achodo (Rtd) (Ph.D), while welcoming Governor Uzodinma and General Buratai at the event, said that he was motivated to write the book based on his experiences as military commander.
He noted that the book captured the evolving challenges of 4th Generation Warfare and Hybrid Wars.
He disclosed that the whole idea of the book is to use it as a Tool-kit for the training of future military commanders.
The Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen TY Buratai was represented by the chief of Civil Military Affairs Maj Gen US Mohammed and some PSOs’ from Army Headquarters Abuja attended the Book Launch.
