The leadership of the Senior Staff Association Statutory Corporations and Governed Owned Companies (SSASCGOC), Maritime Branch ,
has called for more prayers from Muslim Ummah, expressing his felicitations on the occasion of the 2023 Eid-el-Kabir festival.
The president, SSASCGOC, Maritime, Comrade Akinola Bodunde on behalf of the union, in his sallah message stressed that the feast of sacrifice should be seen as a period of sober reflection in expressing love and affection for mankind.
Bodunde called on workers of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) both senior and junior staff to see the season as a time to see themselves as brothers with fervent prayers for the betterment of the maritime industry and also the nation’s economy .
The Union’s President further appreciated the Managing Director, NPA, Mr. Mohammed Bello and the executive management team for their immense contributions to the welfare of employees and the port development generally.
He stated that” On behalf of the union, I greet all the Muslim Brothers and Sister in this industry Barka de Sallah.
”Allah has made it possible for us to witness another Eid-el-Kabir again.
“May the blessing of Allah fill our life with peace, joy, and good health.
“May Almighty Allah accept our good deeds and sacrifices, alleviate your sufferings, and forgive us all for our transgressions.” Comrade Bodunde stated.
