BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION: ANLCA Chieftain Fetes Less Privileged

Former financial secretary of the Kirikiri Lighter Terminal (KLT) Chapter , Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Esther Awujoola Oyeleke yesterday celebrated her 40th birthday with a visit to less Privileged Homes.

Oyeleke, the Chief Executive Officer of Estymuels Integrated Services limited, a Customs clearing agency in a statement, visited Spinal Cord Injuries Association of Nigeria; Berth Torrey home and So-Said Charity Home all at Amuwo Odofin, Lagos.

Esther who donated bags of rice, noodles, face masks snd sanitizer, gloves with other food items said it was a move to appreciate what God has done in her life over the years.

Speaking with journalists after the donation, she said, “It is all God and nothing more. I have only come to identify with the less privileged over what the almighty God has done in my life in my 40 years on earth. He has been nice, kind and good to me.”

“Coming to orphanages is to celebrate with sober reflection and to thank God that despite the afflictions especially Coronavirus (Covid-19) that is ravaging the world, I and my family are still alive to give glory to God.” She continued, “I will never take God’s privilege for granted.”

She also thanked those who have contributed to her success over the years and promised not to disappoint the trust and love they repose in her.

“Over the years, I have met people who have contributed to my success to be a successful customs broker. I appreciate their contributions. I have also met people who thought they could bring me down but God has always disappointed them but, I have forgiven them all,” she stated.

She however disclosed that she will continue to contribute to humanity and identify with the less privileges in whatever way she can.

Also, she prayed that the deadly Covid-19 ravaging the world will come to a halt and the world economy to recover.

“The world has experienced another round of depression due to the pandemic that has locked down the whole world. It has affected every economy and Nigeria being an import dependent country is gravely affected. I pray to almighty God to help curtail the spread of the virus so that the world can bounce back once again,” she concluded.
