CUSTOMS: Tin Can Port Command Nets ₦1.45 Trillion Within Eleven Months 

Tin Nigeria Customs Service, Tin Can Island Port Command (TCIPC) has demonstrated exceptional performance under the leadership of Comptroller Frank Okechukwu Onyeka. Despite challenges related to the transition from NICIS 11 to the new B’Odogwu software platform, the Command achieved remarkable revenue generation and operational success.

From January to November 2025, the command generated an impressive ₦1.45 trillion in revenue, with November alone bringing in over ₦135 billion.

According to a statement on Thursday, this represents a significant increase from the previous year. In addition to revenue achievements, the Command seized illicit substances worth ₦5.3 billion in October, showcasing its commitment to combating smuggling.

Similarly, at the recent Comptroller-General of Customs Conference, the Command was recognized with two prestigious awards: Best in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and a Special Award in B’Odogwu.

These honours highlight the ongoing dedication of Comptroller Onyeka and his team to enhancing trade facilitation, protecting the national economy, and driving sustainable development.

This successful year is credited to strategic stakeholder engagement, streamlining operations, and preparing for the upcoming national single window project aimed at further improving efficiency.
