MWUN Unveils Four Haulage Units In Delta State

 

The Dockworkers Branch of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) has inaugurated four units under the haulage district.

This was contained in a statement e-signed by Comrade John Kennedy Ikemefuna, Head of Media, MWUN on Saturday.

The four Units are differently located in Delta State as follows:
1) Ifiekoro/Obeji Unit; having Comrades Endurance Odongharo Bobele as Chairman and Andy Eyifoma Omagbemi as Secretary.
2) Sapele Unit has Comrades Felix Oborodowan as Chairman and Akoko Aghogho as Secretary.
3) Koko Unit has Comrades Happy Wilkie as Chairman, while Bright Dumkpemi is Secretary.
4) Oghara Unit has Comrades Daniel Ayoka as Chairman with Tanno Kingsley as Secretary.

After the inaugural swearing-in- ceremony, the President of Dockworkers Branch, Comrade Agboola Bolaji thanked the Unit officers and admonished them to be of best behaviour, while carrying out their official functions in their various units according to the dictates of the Union’s constitution, so as not to bring the name of the Union into disrepute.

The Branch President further congratulated the newly elected officers of the units alongside his branch executives urging them to be good ambassadors of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria at all times.

He noted that the inauguration of the new Units has heralded a new era into the Union at large.
