NMNOWTSSA Extends Congratulatory Message To MWUN Over Four Successful Branch Elections

Chief Engineer Bob Joseph Yousuo, National President of the Nigerian Merchant Navy Officers and Water Transport Senior Staff Association (NMNOWTSSA), has extended a heartfelt congratulatory message to the leadership of the Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN) on the successful completion of all branch elections.

In his message, Chief Engineer Yousuo expressed both skepticism and joy, noting that this marks a historic milestone for the sister union. For the first time, a member from the seafarers’ branch has ascended to the position of President General of MWUN, a development he warmly celebrated.

Chief Yousuo also pledged to collaborate closely with the entire MWUN leadership to improve the welfare and working conditions of Nigerian seafarers across the country.

Furthermore, the seasoned seafarer extended his felicitations to all newly elected branch presidents and their executives, wishing them a successful tenure. He encouraged them to embrace the spirit of teamwork to achieve their goals.

In closing, Chief Engineer Bob Joseph Yousuo congratulated MWUN as one big family, emphasizing unity and collective progress in the maritime sector.

 

Recall that the MWUN recently conducted a peaceful elections across the littoral states.

The elections held in Lagos, Port Harcourt Rivers State and Delta State respectively.
