The site simplifies the application process for future seafarers and promotes maritime professions by attracting, recruiting and retaining talent from officers to engineers, ratings, catering staff, and cadets.

According to a statement, the company said the site hosts immersive content, crew testimonials, and presentations of onboard living conditions to allow future seafarers to discover behind the scenes information on careers at CMA CGM.

Regular updates will include group news related to life at sea and career opportunities, innovations onboard, new service launches, recruitment days and events at sea or ashore.

The launch of CMASHIPS.com is part of CMA CGM’s broader strategy to enhance its attractiveness to seafarers worldwide, in a context of fleet expansion and transformation of maritime transport.
This includes proactive measures to promote gender diversity on board through the “She Sails” programme, which encourages and supports women’s careers in maritime professions.
