While highlighting some of the achievements since his emergence as scribe of NAGAFF, Nwosu stressed that “We have been able to participate in British Nigeria Chamber’s of Commerce, NAGAFF was fully represented at the single window stakeholders forum, within this shortest time also, we have hosted the Registrar/CEO of CRFFN and today, we are hosting the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy which I think is a good way to go”.
On his exit from the association, he pointed out that “I left NAGAFF not because of any issues but because of curiosity to achieving results. Maybe my timing and responses to issues might be wrong before the high command of NAGAFF, therefore I might be wrong or misinterpreted on matter affecting our association and management of the association may not be comfortable with my positions on matters linked to the association.
So I felt I should move on as a career freight forwarder and someone who is eager to explore .
Asked what to expect from him, Nwosu said” We want to improve on SOP, and to operate all inclusive membership and followership. What am bringing to the table is to ensure detailed standard operating procedures,”.
He further noted that old orders will give way for new directives in furtherance to project the association’s mandates through team work and collective responsibilities by leaders of NAGAFF.
Nwosu stated that the founder of NAGAFF Dr. Boniface Aniebonam has worked round the clock to ensuring sustainability of the association, adding that freight forwarders will continue to appreciate his professional initiatives of global best practices.
Whilst commending the President of NAGAFF for giving him the opportunity to service as the scribe, the former secretary, Tin Can Island Chapter of NAGAFF promised to work with internal and external public as part of measures to move the association to greater heights .
