ANLCA Eastern Zone Receives Newly  Elected President, Emenike In Grand Style

Members , Association of Nigeria Licenced Customs Agents (ANLCA), Eastern Zone, in their numbers were at the Port Harcourt International Airport on Monday 11 September 23 to welcome the newly elected National President, Elder Emenike Kingsley Nwokeoji with pomp and peagentry alongside , cultural displays and fun to the admiration of all ANLCA members and officials in attendance.

According to a statement e signed by Emmanue C. Onyeme, National Publicity Secretary ANLCA, the occasion attracted stalwarts in the Eastern Zone , even as they lauded the humility, resourcefulness, and steadfastness of the new president.

In his remarks, the former National President and presently BOT Member of ANLCA, Chief (Sir ) Ernest Elochukwu, said, “Election is over and all ANLCA members from all walks of life should be on board to build a formidable, respected, and purposeful association that will accord its relevance and role in the nation’s building”.

Sir Elochukwu emphasised that its time for us to work aimed at protecting  the interests of ANLCA members and catering for  the welfare of members  and  operational challenges.

He stated that members should beef up their operational skills and capacities for a more united and productive ANLCA, with the interests of all  members at the forefront.

In his response, the National President, Elder Emenike Kingsley Nwokeoji, said, “To God be all the glory for the victory, and there’s no victor and no vanquish. We are back from a tough road to serve our people and restore the glory and status of ANLCA. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to my mentor, Sir Ernest Elochukwu, and all those who stood by me.”

The former zonal chairman, Chief Uche Martins, said, “ANLCA is in good hands, and everybody should give Sir Emenike Nwokeoji and his team all the needed and necessary support to excel.”

In his submission, the  Eastern Zone Coordinator, Prof. Joshua Ahuama, thanked all members in attendance.

Recall that Sir Emenike Nwokeoji won the much talked about ANLCA Election against Dr. Kayode Farinto   last week Thursday at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.
