KEBBI STATE:  Governor Bagudu Queries Two Commissioners Over  Teachers Salary Delay

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has queried the Commissioner for Basic Education Alhaji Muhammadu Magawata Aliero and the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Hassan Muhammad Shallah on the delay for the payment of October salary for primary school teachers in Kebbi State.

 

Abubakar Mu’azu Dakingari, Chief Press Secretary, Government House disclosed in a statement on Saturday , 30th October 2021.

 

The Governor warned that he would not condone laxity or delay in the payment of salary to primary school teachers in the state emphatically saying that he would not take it lightly with any Government official for negative attitude to work.

Consequently Senator, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu ordered the immediate payment of salary to all teachers throughout the state without further delay.

 

The Governor who was at Jega Unity Primary School Saturday received complaints from primary school Teachers who told him that they have not been paid their October salary.

 

 

 

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu entered some of the classrooms where weekend lessons were ongoing and expressed satisfaction about the performance of both Teachers and Students in the school.
