Tension In Delta State As Military Men Allegedly Kill Man Around Forcados Terminal

There are palpable tension and anxiety at the Ogulagha community in Delta State, over the alleged killing of a young man, Endurance Oweiye Kalaepele, 27, who was  shot twice by military personnel attached to the Forcados Terminal in the area.
GbaramatuVoice reported that the incident happened on Monday, 27th June,  2022 at about 11pm.

According to youth president, ThankGod Iyaragba: “Around 10 pm yesterday, Monday, June 27, 2022, six of the community boys went to the bush behind Forcadoes Terminal, the Pipeline bush, for snail picking, but were intercepted on their way back by the military men. One of the boys, Endurance, tried to run out of fear but shot twice at close range.”
“This prompted the infuriated youths of the community to go on a rampage destroying company vehicles and property. They have also taken over the major roads in the community to express their anger,” he was quoted  by the publication.
Pictures available online, revealed that the deceased Niger Delta youth have been deposited in nearby morgue , even as they expressed bitterness over the death of their own.
The Police or Army are yet to arrive the scene as filing the report.
