SSASCFA Extends Christmas Greetings To Maritime Stakeholders, Preaches Unity Among Employees ,Employers

The Senior Staff Association of Shipping Clearing and Forwarding Agencies (SSASCFA) has released a heartfelt Christmas message to maritime stakeholders, emphasizing unity, resilience, and future collaboration in Nigeria’s shipping sector.
In the message, signed by Comrade Harrison Ugochukwu Asonye, President General of SSASCFA, the association celebrates the industry’s triumphs amid global challenges like supply chain disruptions and regulatory changes.
Asonye said”We celebrate the spirit of unity that binds us across docks, warehouses, and shipping lanes,” even as he , honoured clearing and forwarding professionals for their expertise in navigating customs complexities and ensuring timely goods delivery.
The PG further extends thanks to regulators and government agencies for policies enhancing port efficiency and digitalization, while praising shipping lines and terminal operators for innovations in vessel tracking and container management.
Asonye highlighted the sacrifices of frontline workers—dockworkers, drivers, and agents—who continue operations during the holidays, embodying the true spirit of service.
Looking forward, the association envisions joint initiatives for 2026, including enhanced training, greener logistics, and streamlined processes to bolster Nigeria’s global trade position.
The message concluded with wishes for peace, prosperity, and renewed vigour in maritime partnerships, closing with “Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!
