SIFAX Group Scales Down Operations Over Covid-19 Pandemic

In reinforcement of its safety protocols as the COVID-19 pandemic spreads globally, the SIFAX Group disclosed on Thursday that it has scaled down operations across its different subsidiaries.

SIFAX disclosed the information in a statement saying it would be adhering to the government’s directives on social distancing in order to slow down the spread of the disease.

According to a press release signed by Mr. Adekunle Oyinloye, Group Managing Director, SIFAX Group, core operations and technical personnel will of the company would however be on ground while the non-essential departments will either maintain a skeletal service or work from home.

It, however, said as operators in the essential services industry, its core operations and technical personnel would be on ground, while the non-essential departments would either maintain a skeletal service or work from home.

It added that “For the few staff that will be at work and clients that will visit our business premises, necessary protective gears, thermometer checks, hand sanitisers, gloves and nose masks have been provided to keep them safe while the clinic at our port terminal in Tin Can Island Port, Lagos is open round the clock to attend to any emergencies.”
