Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has approved a set of palliative measures for public servants, including one day off per week and a ₦10,000 monthly transport allowance to cushion the effects of rising fuel prices and the high cost of living.

The initiative, which will run for three months from April 2026, is designed to ease commuting challenges and improve workers’ welfare.
