Shuiabu alleged that the N40 million each given to his two wives Hajia Hadiza and Barrister Aisha was nothing more than  frivolous waste of government resources.

He criticised the administration for its inability to recruit civil servants since his assumption of office almost four years ago saying the N80 million spent on food would be enough to pay the salaries of a significant number of state workers who are languishing.“

If workers are employed and are paid N30, 000 monthly, you can imagine how many of them will benefit, but to use N80 million for feeding in Government monthly, I feel this is a huge waste, and if voted into office, we will not allow this continue”.
