KLT Customs, AIG Maritime Command Collaborate For Seamless Traffic Management, Security

 

The Customs Area Controller of the Kirikiri Lighter Terminal (KLT), Comptroller Joy Edeieltuok and the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) , Maritime, AIG Yusuf Garba have reaffirmed strong commitment for improved cargo clearance in line with trade facilitation plus seamless port operations.

The two high ranking officers of the Police and Customs made this submission on Wednesday, when Comptroller Edeieltuok
paid a working visit to the AIG in Kan Salem House ,Obalende Lagos.

The Controller who visited the AIG in company of her management team, while welcoming the police boss , appreciated the efforts of the command in the clearance of traffic hindering free flow of cargoes from the command.

According to a message from the command’s Public Relations Officer, (PRO), ASP Okoi Arikpo, the KLT Controller sought for more efforts towards ensuring seamless flow of traffic at the command

She further commended the AIG Maritime Command for his intensified efforts at maintaining the security at the command.

Area Controller,KLT Command,Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Joy Edelduok signing the attendance register during the visit to the officer of AIG Maritime Command, Nigeria Police Force on Wednesday in Lagos.

 

According to the message, the AIG welcomed her management team and assured her of continued collaboration and synergy between the two commands

He congratulated the Controller and also wished them well in the line of their duties.

He also frowned at unprofessionalism among the officers and men of the police force.
