Everton Confirms James Rodriguez Move To Goodison Park

James Rodriguez

Everton have confirmed the signing of James Rodriguez on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee, with the club having an option on a third year for the playmaker.

The 29-year-old has become Carlo Ancelotti’s second senior signing of the summer, shortly following the arrival of Napoli midfielder Allan.

The Colombia international is joining up with the Blues manager for the third time in his career, with the Italian having signed the playmaker for both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in previous years.

Rodriguez was one of the star players in the 2014 World Cup, helping his country to the quarter finals and finishing as the tournament’s top scorer with six goals.
