ANLCA ELECTION: Farinto Pledges To Revamp KLT For Optimal Utilisation If Elected

Presidential Candidate and the immediate past Acting National President of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) in the 2023 NECOM election , Dr Farinto Collins Kayode has promised to revive the under utilised Brawal Terminal ( Kirikiri Lighter Terminal) for optimal utilisation.

Farinto hinted that if voted into power come August 15, 2023, he will make moves for the Association to takeover the fallow Brawal Terminal ( Kirikiri Lighter Terminal) and make it boom again.

Farinto gave the assurance on Thursday during his campaign visit to the terminal in Lagos.

He said ” Am just looking at this place being empty with no activities, ANLCA can apply to the necessary authorities and takeover this place to make it boom again. Am a thinker”.

He further said that his ten point agenda as contained in his manifesto is all encompassing that will brought prosperity to members of ANLCA if voted into office.

” I have carefully selected this team as men of integrity and dignity, this men are ready to work for you and bring prosperity back to ANLCA. So we seek for your votes . Vote this team and you will never regret it”.

Earlier, the Chapter Chairperson of the KLT, Esther Oyeleke led the Farinto team to visit the Customs Area Controller of the KLT Command who was represented by the Deputy Comptrollers, DC S.Wadina, DC Revenue and DC Udoye, DC Administration.

Dr Farinto informed the Customs that though the association has been in crises in the last five years, but the NECOM election is going to bring the crises to an end and bring stability to the association.

Both discussed on the long standing relationship with each organisation and agreed to continue the non divorcing relationship , especially in trade facilitation and other areas of benefits .

The Chairperson of the KLT Chapter, Esther Oyeleke while welcoming the Dr Farinto Collins campaign team, urged all members in the chapter to cast their votes for the team as they are the only candidates that can bring back the lost glory of the association.

All other candidates in the Farinto team also seek the votes of their members in the chapter and were assured of 100% votes for the team.

With the visit to KLT Chapter, the Dr Farinto Collins campaign team have ended it’s campaign tour of all Zones and Chapters of the association across the country.

It could be recalled that the Dr Farinto Collins team who has vigorously been campaigning on issues and how to relaunch the “New ANLCA”, has visited the Eastern Zone holding it’s campaign rally at Port Harcourt. Northern Zone of Abuja and Kano and Western Zone chapters of Apapa, Tin Can Island, PTML, Murtala Mohammed Airport, Seme border, Ikorodu and KLT.

The ANLCA Electoral Commission (ASECO). is yet to be announced the venue for the election barely two weeks to the election.
