AMJON Commiserates With NPA Boss Over Father’s Demise

The Association of Maritime Journalists of Nigeria (AMJON) on Thursday, commiserated with the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Mr. Bello Koko over the demise of his father, Alhaji Muhammad Koko.

This was contained in a statement on Thursday and jointly signed by the President and Secretary, Paul Ogbuokiri and Oluwasegun Oladipupo respectively.

“The board, executives and members of the Association of Maritime Journalists of Nigeria (AMJON) commiserate with the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Mr. Bello Koko over the demise of his father, Alhaji Muhammad Koko.

“Sir, we are with you in this trying period and we share your pains but our relief is that your father lived a fulfilled life.

“We are only humans who all know that this world is not our permanent abode but our prayer is that we get old before our departures.

“May Allah forgive him all his shortcomings and grant him Aljanat

“It is our prayer that the Lord will also comfort your immediate and extended families and grant them the fortitude to bear this painful loss, “the statement added.
