NAGAFF Makes Case For National Single Window Project Benefits
The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has reaffirmed its strong support for Nigeria’s National Single Window (NSW) project, a transformative one-stop portal for trade processing.
Amid calls for suspension from critics like members of National Council for Managing Directors of Licensed Customs Agents NCMDLCA, NAGAFF through its Secretary General,Emeka Nwosu , clarified the facts and emphasized the project’s immense benefits, urging stakeholders to embrace it for Nigeria’s global competitiveness.
Key Benefits of the NSW Project, he stated will boost initiative that aligns with the World Trade Organisation WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) and to deliver clear advantages: that streamlines documentation
According to him, NSW simplifies procedures for import, export, and transit goods into a single platform, adding that “It will eliminate duplication: reduces redundant processes across agencies, cutting delays and bureaucracy; boosts transparency and efficiency; enhances port operations with real-time tracking and oversight.

Nwosu pointed out that other benefits of the platform lowers business costs which: decreases expenses for traders, making Nigeria more attractive for investment and improves global standing: Promotes competitiveness by curbing cargo diversion to neighboring ports and fostering foreign direct investment.
