Bunu Commends Police Officers Attached To MWUN Over New Ranks

The President-General of the Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade Francis Bunu Abi, has congratulated two Mobile Police Force (MPF) officers attached to the Headquarters of MWUN in Lagos for their efficiency, commitment, and exemplary conduct in carrying out their official policing duties without fear or favour in protecting lives and property—one of their major responsibilities as enshrined in the Police laws, which they have faithfully upheld.

In a statement on Friday by Comrade John Kennedy Ikemefuna, Head of Media MWUN, the officers, Marcus Peter and Segun Oladunjoye, were formerly Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs 1 Unconfirmed) and have now been promoted to Confirmed ASPs 2.

According to the PG of MWUN, these two superior police officers (Supols) consistently demonstrate professionalism, maintain an impeccable uniform appearance, and have never been found wanting since their deployment from the MPF squadron to the Union.

Bunu maintained that their role includes maintaining law and order and ensuring proper enforcement of security.He urged the officers to continue their good conduct and to uphold the pride of good policing by projecting the Police Force in a positive light.

The President General added that the officers have continued to show commitment in maintaining law and orders saying that their level of professionalism have been unprecedented.
