SSASCFA Commends MWUN For Transformation Of Dockworkers

The Senior Staff Association of Shipping, Clearing & Forwarding Agency (SSASCFA) has commended the Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN) for the remarkable transformation of dockworkers under its current leadership.

This commendation came during a visit by SSASCFA President-General Comrade Harrison Ugochukwu Asonye to MWUN headquarters at Osho Drive, Olodi Apapa, Lagos, on Wednesday, where he met with MWUN President-General Comrade Francis Bunu Abi and his executive team.

According to a statement on Thursday, by John Kennedy Ikemefuna, Comrade Asonye was quoted expressing delight over the innovations and progress made by MWUN within a short period of Comrade Bunu’s tenure, highlighting the refinement and positive development of dockworkers.

He also recalled past visits to the union and wished that Comrade Bunu’s achievements would surpass those of his predecessors due to his foresight and dedication.Emphasizing the importance of collaboration, SSASCFA’s leader called for rekindling the long-standing relationship with MWUN to enhance operational efficiency in the maritime sector.
