Chartered Institute , Ghana Honours GIE Logistics CEO, Echezona With Prestigious Doctorate Fellowship Award

On a special occasion organized by the Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics (Ghana), an international body committed to promoting ethical governance and leadership excellence, Mr. Ifechukwu Echezona was proudly inducted into the 2025 Hall of Fame.

Established in 1995 and chartered in 2005, the Institute has been at the forefront of fostering probity in governance, ethical business practices, and leadership development through conferences, training, and certifications.

Echezona, the Chief Executive Director of Zonak Group and Founder of the Ech Foundation, was celebrated for his exemplary leadership, strong work ethics, and visionary approach to business. Described as a man of integrity and a seasoned professional, Mr. Echezona’s achievements reflect his passion for excellence and ethical business management.

Speaking at brief ceremony held in Lagos on Thursday, Director, Membership Services Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics , Ghana, Dr Akinsanya Sodiq said “One of its core missions is to recognize outstanding individuals whose dedication and integrity positively impact nation-building and youth empowerment.

According to him, “In recognition of his exceptional contributions, the Institute awarded him the title of Doctorate Fellow in Leadership and Strategic Business Management in West Africa.

Dr. Sodiq added that “This accolade honours his commitment to responsible leadership and his inspiring role within the African business community.

The Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics (Ghana) and all gathered guests join in celebrating Echezona’s remarkable achievements and leadership, encouraging others to follow in his footsteps.

 

In his acceptance speech, Echezona who is also the Managing Director GIE Logistics Limited, emphasized the importance of youth involvement in the freight forwarding industry in Nigeria.

He attributed his success to consistency and pledged continued participation in capacity-building seminars hosted by the Institute. Highlighting the growing potential of freight forwarding and customs brokering, he also shared that his company, GIE Logistics Limited, is steadily expanding to become a global brand, serving both local and international clients in line with global trade dynamics.

Echezona called on youths to embrace freight forwarding and logistics services as a chosen career addition that consistency is key towards achieving success.
