Minister  Intensifies Tinubu Administration’s Prospect At APC Commissioners’ Conference In Minna

The  Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris (fnipr), has called on information managers across All Progressives Congress (APC) states to intensify efforts in communicating the achievements and opportunities of the Renewed Hope Agenda to Nigerians.

Idris made this appeal during his keynote address at the Conference of Commissioners for Information in APC States, organized by the Progressives Governors’ Forum and hosted in Minna, Niger State on Thursday.

Emphasising on Renewed Hope Agenda,
Idris reiterated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is steadily implementing the Eight-Point Renewed Hope Agenda, a blueprint for economic revitalization, national development, and inclusive growth. He highlighted the administration’s discipline and commitment in executing policies and programs aimed at improving the welfare of Nigerians.

Idris described the removal of the fuel subsidy as a “painful but necessary reform” that has curbed economic leakages and enabled increased funding for major infrastructure projects such as the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Superhighway, Kaduna-Kano Standard Gauge Railway, and others.

He noted steady investment in social services and increased monthly allocations to state governments, enabling transformative projects in sectors like education, healthcare, and agriculture.

Evidently,,Idris urged Commissioners for Information to communicate the following flagship initiatives to their constituents pointing out that over 900,000 Nigerians have benefited from the Presidential Conditional Grant and Loan Scheme.

He reaffirmed the Federal Ministry’s commitment to supporting state information managers, citing investments in public information infrastructure and enhanced national campaigns.

Idris concluded by urging Commissioners to “go back home with renewed energy, armed with facts, stories, and strategies” to help citizens benefit from the Renewed Hope Agenda, reaffirming the administration’s faith in Nigerians and the collective mission to deliver on its promises.
