Shippers Council Inaugurates Special Marshals To Enhance Road Safety Discipline
The Nigerian Shippers’ Council NSC), has taken a significant step towards promoting road safety and discipline with the inauguration of a new set of Special Marshals.
A statement over the weekend stated that the ceremony, held at the NSC headquarters in Lagos, was conducted in collaboration with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
The Special Marshals, drawn from NSC staff, will serve as exemplars of order and integrity, upholding safety and organizational compliance.

The NSC’s Executive Secretary/CEO, Dr. Pius Akutah, MON, who was represented by the Director Strategic Planning and Research, Mr. Rotimi Anifowose emphasized the importance of their role in promoting safety and discipline.
Pastor Olusegun Akinta, State Coordinator of the Special Marshals said that the inauguration of the Special Marshals by the Council, marks a significant milestone in partnership between NSC and FRSC.
He charged the new marshals to promote road safety awareness, collaborate with FRSC personnel and exemplify safe driving behavior.
The NSC remains committed to maintaining high standards and promoting a culture of safety and discipline.
