Dr. Agbaje Giant Strides At Apapa General Hospital

In a move to improve the medical services at the general hospital, Apapa, Dr. Agbaje Lateefat Omolara has set the ball rolling with strategic vision and managerial prowess, that has led to absolute brilliancy.

Since assuming office, the CEO of the facility has embarked on renovations of all medical department by moving all the departments to the ground floor of the hospital for patients convenience and accessibility.

Recently she received a brand new bus Ambulance, medical wares and Ultra sound scanner from Dangote foundation via Corporate Social Responsibility of the foundation in furtherance to improve the standard of medical services of the Facility.

Dr. Agbaje remains focused on ways to expand the General Hospital , Apapa for a better medical services.

Since her appointment by the Lagos State Government, she has changed the narrative of the hospital.

Recall that the Medical Director and Chief Executive Officer of Apapa General Hospital (AGH), had submitted that strategies are already being deployed for ease of access and to attract more patronage of the facility.

According to a statement by Oputeh Michael, Public Affairs officer, General Hospital , Apapa, quoted Agbaje saying, “Currently, our clinics are upstairs and our first target is to move all those clinics downstairs for easy access.

“We are also doing some marketing strategies by celebrating our anniversary where we had an outreach for children in Apapa and we are going to continue doing that because people need to be reminded that there is a facility here rh can provide virtually, all the medical services that they require,” she stated.

Dr. Lateefat Omolara Agbaje took over from Dr. Keshinro Ajibola as the new Medical Director , General Hospital Apapa, Lagos on July 7th 2024.

She holds a Bachelor Degree in Dental Surgery (Bchd.) from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife. Dr. Lateefat is a fellowship of West African College of Surgeons (Restorative Dentistry).
