Oshiomhole’s APC South-South Caucus Meeting A Big Flops

The much-touted All Progressives Congress (APC) South-south caucus meeting convened by the embattled National Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, on Thursday night, turned out a big flop, as it was an assemblage of retired, rejected politicians from Edo State.

The only prominent personality in the meeting was the Deputy Senate President, Hon. Ovie Omo-Agege, who is a known stooge of Comrade Oshiomhole since his emergence as the number two man in the red chambers.

Some of the other faces at the meeting are former deputy governor, Peter Obadan and Lucky Imasuen.

Others present were the usual gang of Edo Peoples Movement (EPM) members. The EPM is a rogue group proscribed by the Edo State Chapter of the APC.

It was gathered that the meagre sum of N100,000 was shared to the attendees as attendance and appearance fee.

It is anticipated that Oshiomhole and his aides would soon put out a ‘pre-written’ statement purporting that the South south caucus of the party passed a vote of confidence on him and some other sinister and illegitimate resolutions targeting some executive members of the Edo State chapter of the APC.
