YULETIDE: MWUN Celebrates With Christians
The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) under the aegis of Comrade (Prince) Dr.. Adewale Adeyanju, has felicitates Christians across the globe on Christmas to mark the birth of Jesus Christ, who atoned His blood on the Cross of Calvary for the redemption of mankind from sin.

Adeyanju admonished Christians in the country and the globe to reflect on Jesus’ birthday for the benefits of mankind during this Yuletide season, saying that Christ is the reason for the season, therefore, Christians should be Christlike by doing good to one another irrespective of tribe, descent, colour or religious differences as this is the season to show unflinching love, mercy and forgiveness as such were the deeds of the Messiah while on earth.
The President -General of the foremost Maritime Labour Union in Nigeria, who doubles as the Deputy President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Vice President Global, International Transport Workers Federation (ITF) advised Christians to be more tolerant and being their brothers keepers at all times,.
Adeyanju stressed that Christianity is the symbol of peace; hence, Christians must be of good cheers always while celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Adeyanju said Christmas is the season of giving and sharing, hence, we must remember to show love and compassion to the needy in our society as we celebrate and rejoice.
