XENOPHOBIA: Group Urges F.G To Withdraw Embassy From South Africa

A socio cultural group under the auspices of ‘ Golden Pals’ has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to shutdown all embassies belonging to South Africa and to equally withdraw hers from that country, following the incessant molestation and maiming of Nigerians.

 

The group in a statement made available to DAILYFOCUS NEWS ONLINE on Tuesday, the attacks by indigenous of South Africans are centred around Nigerians adding that the world chose to be silent in sanctioning concerned authorities .

The statement by Ade Momen reads : Xenophobic attack by South Africans on Nigerians is a recalling decimal, an unending rivalry between both countries with Nigeria at the receiving end.

The question is; for how long????

 

Nigeria is guided by international law, but up till this moment, the international communities are yet to make a comment on this attacks. Isn’t that surprising? Obviously we are left to fight this curse ourselves.

 

Yes Nigeria is not the only country under this attacks, but we are the major victims and obviously their target because the names of casualties are Nigerians with businesses and properties destroyed, while they are enjoying a thriving investments here.

“We believe Nigerians are hard working and good businessmen and women, we can’t be intimidated; enough is enough.

 

The situation is obvious, statement of intents is irrelevant, first things first ;

 

“1. Our international relationship should be broken by sending the South Africa ambassador back and ours withdrawn immediately. We believe this will be a strong signal from Nigeria government to their presidency as regards what is at stake.

 

“2. The government at presidency level should ‘resume talk’ with an emphatic/strong policy statements against the killings of Nigerians and destruction of properties and investment in South Africa.

“3. Extra security measures should be provided for Nigerian with immediate effect.

 

“Unlike South Africans, Nigerian are tailored to be peaceful in nature and we place value on human lives, but we must not be pushed to make a retaliatory moves. Though it’s disastrous in a foreign land, but it will call for world attention. An extreme circumstance demands an extreme measures!!”, the statement added.
