Western Port Police Command Gets New Commissioner

The newly appointed Commissioner,Mr. Cyril Okoro  who met with officers and men on Monday ,tasked them to be diligent in protecting lives and properties at the Lagos seaports.

Okoro who was posted to the Western Ports  last week Friday , assumed duty on Monday at the Lagos Ports Complex.

The Police top brass took over from Uba Kuka Mohammed who has been promoted to Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) .

 The commissioner met with personnel of the force during a brief handing over ceremony .

He will also meet with maritime industry stakeholders as part of his familiarization tour in weeks to come.
