In full compliance to the social distancing directive , the Lagos State Ferry Service (LAGFERRY), has restrategised its seating capacity arrangements for passengers en route Ijede and Badore in Lagos riverine community to encourage waterways transportation.
According to the state’s official Facebook page on Monday, two of the ferries deployed to the said route have reduced the capacity seating arrangement to 60% .
The vessels ,as directed by the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo Olu are MV AYANGBUREN and MV LATEEF JAKANDE .
One of the vessel with 24 passengers seating capacity have been reduced to 14 , while the other with 30 seating arrangement capacity has been cut down to 18.
“In full compliance with the Physical Distancing directive of Mr. Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu; MV AYANGBUREN and MV LATEEF JAKANDE are ready with adjusted 60% seating capacity (from 24pax to 14pax and 30pax to 18pax respectively) for commuters en route IJEDE-BADORE, May 04 2020.
