The Lagos State Ferry Service (LAGFERRY) has disclosed that a total of 60,054 passengers have been conveyed in less than six months of operational activities on the state inland waterways.
Statistical data analysis revealed that as Tuesday, 30:06:2020 – recorded 1,822 hours of operation, with a total of 2,617 cumulative number of trips.
LAGFERRY operations under Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu also had 73623km distance covered with 60,054 passengers commuted.
Also , the water transport operators also splashed gift items to her 60,000th passenger, Mrs Caroline Ateboh on the CMS/Marina to Ikorodu route onboard MV Babatunde Fashola.
“This historic moment is recorded after Mr. Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu launched the commercial operation of the reenergized LAGFERRY on the 4th of February 2020.
