The Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, in a media interaction, underlining the reality that President Tinubu holds Fubara as APC leader in Rivers, averred that Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, cannot assume APC leadership in Rivers State because he is not APC member.

Bwala declared that Wike has been adequately compensated by President Tinubu, with his appointment as FCT Minister.

Bwala asserted that “APC would firmly resist any attempt to obstruct the governor from performing his constitutional duties” in Rivers State.

He, subtly, cautioned against the impeachment of the Governor by lawmakers loyal to Wike.
