Tinubu And El-rufai Deserve To Rule Presidency In 2023 – Governor Buni

Governor Mala Mala Buni of Yobe state has said that the ambition of bringing in Malam Nasiru El-Rufa or Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023 will not disrupt the ruling APC.

Speaking in an interview with BBC News on Saturday with the tag, Governor Buni said the party would look good because President Muhammadu Buhari has laid the foundation for the party in a positive direction.

He said that Yobe is a cooperative state, so the issue of relocation of his government and some of his predecessors who did not allow him to remain in power, is not true.

The governor described the state of Yobe as a state where the monthly salary of a civil servant has a huge impact on the economy, adding that he has since started paying minimum wage of N30,000.

He said the state is taking steps to improve education and facilitate learning.

He added that measures were taken to improve health in the state especially for many indigenous people with kidney problems, ”the governor said.
