“The Rock” Tops List Of Richest Wrestling Stars Of All-Time

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is WWE’s highest earner of all time as revealed by Givemesport.com

The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment was the face of the Attitude Era and he’s since gone on to crack Hollywood too… making himself a mint in the process.

Johnson’s worth is now over £240 million, with starring roles in blockbuster films like Jumanji, Baywatch and Moana contributing to that figure.

He’s had a career that many professional wrestlers would no doubt love to follow.

But who else makes WWE’s rich list? Well, The Sun have recently revealed the top 10 earners of all-time.

The Rock was always going to be number one
It probably comes as no surprise that WWE’s two highest earners are the guys that have broken into Hollywood.

Although Cena is almost £200m behind The Rock, his wealth is nothing to be sniffed at.

Stone Cold is another man who has made a lot of money on the screen – but his roles have been more suited to television, rather than films.

Stone Cold has been a hit away from WWE
Austin has hosted three reality TV shows in Tough Enough, Redneck Island and his own Broken Skull Challenge, while also dabbling in Hollywood.

Looking further up the list and we see a number of names who have made a lot of money purely in sports entertainment.

Triple H, now WWE’s Executive Vice President of Global Talent, Strategy and Development, is worth a massive £31 million, dwarfing the likes of Hogan, Angle and Big Show.

Triple H now takes a corporate role in WWE
Jericho is the only full-time wrestler on the list – if we exclude Lesnar for his part-time WWE appearances – proving that it really can be a lucrative business if you’re good enough.

Just don’t expect him to make anywhere near as much money as The Rock… unless he decides to swap the squared circle for the silver screen one day.
