Tambuwal Condoles Families Of Goronyo Boat Mishap
The Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal has commiserated with the families of the victims of the boat mishap at Birjingo in Goronyo local government area.
According to a statement on Monday at least 9 persons, two of whom are females were killed in a boat accident which occurred recently.
Governor Tambuwal prayed for the repose of the souls of those who died in the accident and wished the survivors quick recovery, as he calmed the people of the area reminding them that as Muslims they should regard the calamity as a trial from Allah.
He prayed to Allah to grant the families of the victims the fortitude to bear the loss of their loved ones.

The Governor also commiserated with the people of Rimawa village over the recent flood disaster occured at the area.
He said already directives have been given to the chairman of the area to ascertain the level of the damages in order to provide them with relief materials.
Tambuwal also charged people in the state to stop building houses on waterways and desilt their drainages with a view to prevent reoccurence of the disaster.
He prayed Allah to prevent future reoccurrence of the disaster.
