He said “We have been doing our best giving scholarship that’s empowerment, alot , that at times we don’t remember, we have given some people vehicles  (korokpe) to empower the youths.

“The challenge notwithstanding is that the resources are lean, we always have it in mind to do, but when the resources is limited you take it easy.

“We went this length this time to give much food is because we know people are hungry.Even though it may not last them long, but its good to give.

“I wish many other privileged Nigerians could  also assist  no matter how small.

“Though this may have been termed to be for political reasons, but as a politician people look up to you from time yo time. Both those that  like you and those that hate you.

“I wish that Nigeria will one day have good planning laid down and by knowing our population as well. And plan this for our tomorrow becsuse the basic needs are food and accommodation.

“Really this food thing is not empowerment but unfortunately based on the situation on ground, we have to dwell on this because people need to eat and live first.

We have done  a lot.

“It’s our heart desire to do more, to give back to the people because if they don’t support us, we will not  be where we are, we must regard them, they are very important.

“Even though giving them is not everything, sometime, you give them listening ear and hear what they will tell you,  The ones you could address, you do , the ones you could not, you have it at the back of your mind, you also put them in your prayers and seek for time to attained to them.

“Accessibility to their representative is key to me. Many have spoken against staying in the constituency, but I love staying with my people because tomorrow when the chips are down, they will decide my fate.

“I can’t go away from my people, your background influences your life a lot, those that  elected you, you move away from them. That is why Nigerians are complaining, its wrong. because am privileged, if people that  have assisted me have ran away  ftom me, I wouldn’t have been where I am today .

“Moving way from the people that elected you is entirely wrong for an elected officer especially we that are grassroot politicians.

“But the whole issue is a two way thing, I also blame the electorates, most times, the politicians stay away ftom the people saving his ,money for the election to come and give them only during the election, but the people may follow him or her at the detriment of the fellow thst has been giving them now and then regardless of how small it is.
