SSASCGOC , MWUN Congratulate New Executive Directors Of NPA

The Senior Staff Association of Statutory Corporation and Government Owned Companies (SSASCGOC), Maritime branch and the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) have congratulated the new Executive Directors of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).
Recall that Ms. Vivian C. Richard Edet — Executive Director, Finance & Administration, Engr. Olalekan Badmus — Executive Director, Marine & Operations, Engr. Ibrahim Abba Umar — Executive Director, Engineering & Technical Services were recently appointed into the organisation.

The two unions expressed satisfaction over the appointment of the Executive Directors, stressing the need for a  symbiotic relationship with the management of NPA.
In the congratulatory message by the President of the association, Comrade Akinola Bodunde, said that the track records of the new appointees earned them the exalted offices
He exuded confidence that their wealth of experience at different levels would make the country’s port a hub in the West African region.
The Union is highly delighted at your appointments especially at this critical time of our nation when inventive approach is needed to make the country’s seaports the hub of port users in the West African sub-region.
“The leadership of SSASCGOC wish to assure you of our unalloyed support and cooperation that would engender industrial growth, peace and harmony in all the ports formations nationwide.
“Once again, we congratulate you all for the well deserved appointments.”
Also, President General of MWUN, Dr. Adewale Adeyanju, congratulated Executive Directors, even as he  commended  President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and Commander-In-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces for the appointment
“Your promotions did not just come on a platter but as a testament of your uncompromising tenacity to hardwork, wealth of experience and unblemished track record of service delivery.
“The Union is highly delighted at your appointments especially at this critical time of our nation when inventive approach is needed to make the country’s seaports the hub of port users in the West African sub-region.
Adeyanju added that “Furthermore, the leadership of the MWUN wish to assure you of our unalloyed support and cooperation that would engender industrial growth, peace and harmony in all the ports formations nationwide.
“Once again, we say congratulations to both Mr. Badmus and Ms. Vivian for the promotions well deserved,”the P-G stated.
