Short Service Online Application Of Navy Ends Monday, As Police Common Entrance Exam Holds On Saturday

The Lagos State Government has announced that the online application for the Nigerian Navy (NN) enlistment exercise for Direct Short Service Commission Course 28, which commenced on Monday, 7th September will close on Monday, 5th October 2020.

A statement issued by the Secretary to the Lagos State Government (SSG), Mrs. Folasade Jaji, implored indigenes interested in the NN Direct Short Service Commission Course 28 to apply online at www.joinnigeriannavy.com within the designated period at no cost to the applicants.

It further advised interested Lagosians to obtain an indigeneship certificate from the State Government as well as observe all COVID-19 protocols during the screening exercise.

While emphasising that applicants must diligently follow the stated procedure for submitting their application successfully, the Lagos State Government enjoined them to take advantage of the opportunity and be part of the noble profession.

However, the Lagos State Police Command has also announced that the Common Entrance Examination into Police Secondary Schools across the country will hold on Saturday, 3rd October, 2020.

A statement issued on Friday by SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, said that the examination will hold in Lagos State at the Police Children Schools located in Obalende 1&2, Ikeja, Idimu, Satellite, Okota and Epe.

The release implored prospective candidates in Lagos State to cross-check the listed Children Schools for their examination centres, urging them to be punctual and observe all COVID-19 protocols as highlighted by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

While warning the candidates against any form of examination malpractices and untoward behaviour at the examination centres, the statement informed that CP Hakeem Odumosu has directed all Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers to provide adequate security for candidates and examiners within and around the examination centres across the State.
