Shippers’ Council Staff Cooperative To Hold Virtual AGM This Week

The Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) Staff Multipurpose Cooperative Society is set to hold its 24th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 10th September , 2020.

According to a statement on Saturday by President the NSC Staff Multipurpose Cooperative Society, Mallam Bashir Ambi, the event wouldn’t lose its significance on account of the online platform.

“The AGM would be chaired by the Director of Finance and Account, NSC, Mr. Daniel Bonat; while other eminent personalities such as the Director of Lagos State Cooperative Services, Hajiya Zulika Ibrahim and the Registrar of the Cooperatives/Apapa Area Officer Mr. O.O. Banjo will be Special Guests of Honour.

In line with safety regulations amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the event would be conducted virtually as only few members will be in attendance onsite.

The event with the theme, “The Need for Transparency and Accountability in Administering Public Fund during and Post COVID-19 Era”, would have the Executive Secretary of NSC, Mr. Hassan Bello deliver the keynote address.

 

The programme would kick-off by 10.30am at the NSC Training Hall, however, participants are advised to join the meeting online.
